ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — Manhattan Bagel owners will not let you leave their Englewood location unsatisfied.
"The other day this woman was upset and she left," employee Kais recalls.
"[Our owner] ran after her, gave her money back and insisted on making her a new sandwich."
The dedication to customers isn't the only thing that keeps people coming back.
"[Their selection] is so unique," police officer London Roballo said. "The french toast bagel — I’ve never seen that from any other place."
The store's popularity has grown since it opened three years ago, attracting the attention of Englewood Mayor Frank Huttle and a variety of city regulars.
Manhattan Bagel is located at 14 W Palisade Ave in Englewood.
