PARAMUS, N.J. — Ann Taylor in the Garden State Plaza is being accused of failing to pay its property taxes, NJ.com reports.
The mall filed a suit against the retailer on July 24, saying that it owes more than $61,700 in taxes since 2016, the article says.
Ann Taylor's agreement with the mall is that it would pay $237,600.48 in rent for the first year, with annual increases through 2028, NJ.com says.
The company that owns Ann Taylor plans on closing up to 650 locations over the next two years.
