Now Bravolebrity Siggy Flicker already wants a second round, according to the esthetician who performed the procedure on the Tenafly resident.
Aesthetics by Norden’s head esthetician Sharrona Katz-Moulay treated Flicker with a treatment called CoolSculpting. The procedure permanently reduces fat cells by freezing them to minus 13 degrees, the temperature that some of those cells freeze and die, she said.
Katz-Moulay said with each treatment, patients will see about a 25 percent reduction in fat cells from the area treated.
“She is raving about it. And she is already wanting to go for her second cycle now,” Katz-Moulay said of Flicker. “I told her we need to wait.”
“It is exciting and everybody wants to get it right away, the second one, but the important part is to really let the body do its job, let it heal,” she said.
Katz-Moulay, also of Tenafly, said CoolSculpting has become the number one procedure for fat removal, ahead of liposuction.
She has used the procedure to treat thousands of people, including many from Bergen County communities such as Tenafly, Edgewater, Ridgwood and Paramus.
“What we are seeing in the last few years, if somebody could have a nonsurgical procedure, and no downtime and good results, they’ll go for that,” she said.
Katz-Moulay said sessions take about an hour, and afterwards people may feel a little sore, but they can go home or back to work, and go about their days.
“They are going to expect to see results starting as early as three weeks and up to four months,” she said.
