ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- The public is invited to celebrate fall with an Oktoberfest bash on Wednesday, Oct. 19 with The Community Chest of Englewood.
This special event will be held at the Englewood Field Club from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and introduces the launch of the nonprofit organization's 2016-17 Annual Campaign.
All funds raised will support area nonprofit organizations that address a range of issues, including health and mental health, hunger, arts programming, the environment, volunteerism and more.
The Community Chest helps fulfil the needs of more than 40,000 residents of all ages from Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs.
Since The Community Chest's founding in 1933, the nonprofit organization has carried out the goal of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” with increased generosity.
Admission to the Oktoberfest is $99 per ticket and includes a wide selection of craft beers, a light dinner and Bavarian-style fare. A live auction will offer culinary and other opportunities, a raffle, and prizes.
