Englewood Cliffs Flu Clinic Set For Sept. 29

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. – Flu season is approaching, and the Englewood Cliffs Board of Health will offer flu shots for children and adults Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The immunization clinic is from 4-7 p.m. at the Community Building, 488 Hudson Terrace.

Shots are available for ages 3 and older. The cost for those who do not have Medicare is $25 for the standard vaccine and $30 for a preservative-free (thimerosal-free) vaccine.

People 65 years and older must bring their Medicare cards with Medicare Part B number. Medicare HMOs will not be accepted.

Pregnant women must bring a note from their doctors to receive the vaccine.

No registration is necessary, and additional parking will be available at Borough Hall, 482 Hudson Terrace.

The board asks that people bring exact change or checks made payable to the Mid Bergen Regional Health Commission.
