A special feature of the program will be the Franz Schubert Bb Trio for piano, violin and cello, one of the great pieces in the chamber music repertoire. The program will also present the classically beautiful Concerto da Camera for flute, English horn and piano by French composer Arthur Honegger. A string quintet written for two violins, viola, cello and double bass by George Onslow, a mid 19th century composer whose music was admired by both Beethoven and Schubert, will complete the program.

The Society’s professional musicians, all of whom reside in Leonia, perform in the major concert halls of New York City and worldwide. Musicians scheduled to perform are Theresa Norris, flute; Marsha Heller, English horn; Steven Masi, piano; Roy Lewis and Douglas Chung, violins; Maggie Speier, viola; Daryl Goldberg, cello; and Patricia Dougherty, bass.

After the concert, the audience is invited to meet the musicians, make new friends and enjoy refreshments.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and students under 18 will be admitted for free.

The second concert will usher in spring on Sunday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. with a celebration of music and poetry to honor National Poetry Month at All Saints Episcopal Church, 150 Park Ave., Leonia.
