The Steve Nelson Quartet, Jazz Vibraharpist, performs outdoors at the Englewood Library at 7:30 p.m.
Nelson was the vibist of choice among some of his generation's most talented up-and-comers. He plays with the Dave Holland's Quintet and Big Band and taught music at Princeton.
"Blues For George A" is dedicated to his friend's dad from his childhood in Pittsburgh, when he first heard the instrument played.
