A dark, romantic tale of family honor, betrayal and madness, Gaetano Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor" is set in the Lammermuir Hills of Scotland in the 17th century. It will be sung in Italian in bel canto style, with projected English subtitles.
Coloratura soprano Hea-Ran Kim of Ridgewood has the role of Lucia.
Maestro Anthony Morss will conduct.
Street parking is available with designated handicapped parking spaces. Hearing assist systems can be obtained through the house manager in the lobby.
