Tenafly DPW To Begin Grass Clippings Collection

TENAFLY, N.J. -- The Tenafly Department of Public Works will begin grass collection on April 15.

Cut grass and leaves must be placed at the curb in reusable containers no larger that 20 gallon capacity, with a lid.

Clippings are picked up on the following schedule: 

  • Mondays: All residences west of the Railroad Tracks, in Recycling Zones 3 and 4.
  • Tuesdays: All residences east of the Railroad Tracks, in Recycling Zones 1 and 2.

Collection will continue through Oct. 15.
