She describes it as the "yoga of dance."
"Unlike any other dance or fitness class, it's not about technique," Shargian told Daily Voice. "But rather dancing from the inside and out while reaping physical and emotional benefits on the way."
Among the many benefits of the class are increased creativity, stress relief and physical strength, the instructor said.
Free trial classes are currently being offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m., and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Call Shargian at 201-560-7872 to make a reservation.
