PALISADES, N.Y. -- Susan Scharf-Diamond and her husband, David Diamond, are continuing a family tradition that began over 50 years ago.
Esplanade at Palisades, a senior living community, has been tied to the Scharf name since the early 1960's. Susan Scharf-Diamond is the third generation of her family to continue their tradition of providing care to seniors. She and her husband David, co-owners of Esplanade, have focused on the importance of taking a positive approach to senior living.
“By taking away the stress of household management, combined with a bright and social atmosphere, we feel we have eased the aging process for so many seniors,” said Scharf-Diamond.
Seniors at Esplanade at Palisades can enjoy activities including yoga, jewelry making, happy hours and more. Additionally, residents can participate in community building events, go on day trips or even visit the in-house wellness center.
“By adding health care services, a full recreation program and many other amenities, seniors are able to continue building a full life into their later years,” said Scharf-Diamond
A family-owned and operated organization, Esplanade at Palisades has become a respected senior living community in Westchester. The Scharf family continues to employ top professionals in the senior healthcare field in an effort to uphold their reputation.
