ALPINE, N.J. — The Alpine community is rallying around a local art teacher and hoping to help her fight ovarian cancer.
Stephanie Bailey has already undergone one major surgery and undergone two rounds of chemotherapy. She still has another 16 to go.
With friends and family being far away, a GoFundMe was started to help Bailey with any needs like food, care or transportation while she continues her fight.
New Milford resident Hillary Fraenkel started the fundraising campaign 20 days ago with the hopes of raising $20,000 for Baily. In that time, the community has donated over $12,000 to the cause.
