Max Burgida, 14, and Aidan Burgida, 12, will officially donate the money in honor of their brother, Bennett Burgida on Wednesday.

Bennett, who is battling a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma called Burkitt lymphoma, has been receiving treatment at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Aidan sparked the fundraising effort through an online campaign, and Max helped to spread the word, according to a Hackensack University Medical Center.

The money raised will benefit the hospital’s Tackle Kids Cancer initiative, which raises funds for research and patient care programs at the Children’s Cancer Institute.
