ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — A $15,000 donation was given to bergenPAC in Englewood by TD Bank.
The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, gave the donation as part of the foundation’s commitment to giving back to the community. The money will go toward funding bergenPAC’s various arts education and community outreach initiatives to serve children and families from low- to moderate-income households.
Access will be provided to the many programs, including The Performing Arts School, Arts Access and the beyond bergenPAC school partnership program. Access to these programs is provided in the form of scholarships to the performing arts school, free tickets to every performance at bergenPAC and integrating the arts into the school curriculum, especially in districts where the arts have been cut or eliminated.
“We are profoundly grateful for the support of these worthy programs from TD Charitable Foundation,” said Dominic Roncace, bergenPAC president and CEO. “Their generous donation allows us to provide access to the arts to those that would not otherwise be able to participate because of financial reasons. It is a great honor to serve our community and with the help of the TD Charitable Foundation, we are able to reach even more individuals.”
Founded in 2003, the 1,367-seat Bergen Performing Arts Center, or bergenPAC, is housed in a historic art deco-style theater and attracts world-class entertainment and offers a performing arts school.
