ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. -- Oceania F. Profe, of Englewood Cliffs, died on Sunday, Feb. 5. She was 98.
Profe was a longtime employee of Prentice Hall, and in retirement, she volunteered as the First Reformed Church's secretary for nearly 40 years. "She was a faithful servant of God, loving friend and a very capable person," information from the funeral home noted.
She is survived by many friends and neighbors. She was preceded by her parents, Erick and Frieda, and her brother Siggy.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Ave., in Fort Lee. The funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park.
