Original Callahan's Co-Owner, Ida Castrianni, Dies

FORT LEE, N.J. — Barbara Castrianni, the co-owner of the original Callahan's in Fort Lee, died on Monday, July 17. She was 93 years old.

She was a Union City native and wife of the late Leonard Castrianni. Castrianni was the mother of Linda De Miglio and her husband Ronald; Lenny Castrianni; Rick Castrianni and his wife, Terri. 

Grandmother of Nicole De Miglio, Daniel De Miglio, Ashley Castrianni, Justin Castrianni and Amanda Castrianni.

She was the great-grandmother of Julia and Emmaline and her "grand dogs," Bella an dBear.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main St., Fort Lee.

The funeral will leave Friday at 10:30 a.m. for the celebration of her funeral mass in the Historic Madonna R.C. Church on the Hill, 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, at 11 a.m.
