ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Vincent V. Matera, a resident of Englewood, died Monday, Feb.8. He was 86.
Matera was a data processor for the American International Group Inc. in New York City up until his retirement in 2000. He also was a U.S. Army veteran, serving our country in Germany during the Korean Era. He was honorably discharged. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1099.
He is survived by his wife Marie P. Mazziotto; his daughter Rosemarie and her husband Robert of Cresskill; his grandson Brent with his brother Alessio Matera of New York City; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Matera.
