ALPINE, N.J. -- Alpine's DPW striped the road in front of borough police headquarters on Friday with a blue line in support of law enforcement.

Police Chief Christopher J. Belcolle thanked the mayor and council for what he called a "gesture of appreciation" and "acknowledgment of support."
