“This is a robbery, give me all you have, no dyes no money packs,” said the note handed to the teller, Police Capt. Daniel Morrissey said.

Witnesses descried the robber, who didn’t show a weapon, as Hispanic, about 6 feet tall, 185 to 200 pounds, with dark eyes and a medium complexion, and believed to be in his 30s.

He was carrying a black zipper bag with a skull on it, Morrissey said, and was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, a purple scarf and the football cap — part of the merchandise for the Feb. 2 Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium.

He walked south on Sylvan Avenue (Route 9W) before witnesses lost track of him following the 1:35 p.m. holdup, the captain said.

Surrounding towns were notified and a perimeter set up. A K9 unit from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office tracked for a stretch before losing the scent in the area of Bayview Avenue and Hudson Terrace. The sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification processed the bank scene.

Anyone with information about the robbery, or the man in the photo, is asked to call Englewood Cliffs detectives: (201) 569-8300
