ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — A mother and son ended up underneath the vehicle that hit them in an Englewood crosswalk Monday, NorthJersey.com reports.

The son, 8, suffered minor head injuries and his mother, 27, suffered internal injuries, the article says.

The car was being driven by a 33-year-old Englewood resident and turning from Park Avenue onto West Englewood Avenue when the mother and son were struck, according to NorthJersey.com.
