Have you seen armed, dangerous Englewood fugitive?

CLIFFVIEW PILOT EXCLUSIVE: Englewood police are looking for a 35-year-old ex-con who they said fired shots at his ex-girlfriend’s home with a stolen rifle — nearly striking their child’s crib — while holding the woman against her will.

Sule Imo Ouhuru stole her car — a stolen two-door, silver 2004 Honda Accord with the NJ license plate: R42CRN — and might still have the .45-caliber carbine with him, as well, Detective Lt. Timothy Torell said.

“We know Sule knows we are looking for him,” Torell told CLIFFVIEW PILOT tonight. My suggestion to him is that he turn himself in immediately, along with the weapon and the vehicle.”

The carbine, he said, “is not the kind of weapon we want floating around out there.”

If you see Ouhuru, or know where he is, dial 911 immediately, Torell said.

“Don’t approach him. Don’t try to follow him,” the lieutenant said.

The woman, who has two children with Ouhuru, lives in the Rock Creek complex in the city’s 2nd Ward.

Charges have been drawn up againt Ouhuru for false imprisonment, child endangerment, auto theft, firearms theft and a host of other weapons charges, Torell told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. As a convicted felon, he’s not allowed to possess a gun.
