Dwight Morrow H.S. Band To Play For Veterans At Madison Square Garden

NEW YORK -- Dwight Morrow High School's marching band is set to perform Thursday in support of a charity that provides aid to wounded veterans.

According to a statement from the high school, the band will perform at the 2K Classic Benefit for Wounded Warriors on Thursday, Nov. 17, at Madison Square Garden.

The band is to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the Southern Methodist University Mustangs take on the Pittsburgh University Panthers in men's basketball, according to the school district, which said the high school students are also to perform during half-time.

Tickets to the event can be purchased here at a cost of $30. All proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
