The exhibition will showcase an array of art and digital works from Bergen County students of all ages, ranging from pre-K through adults. Exhibiting students have explored the works of some of the most important contemporary artists to date including Mickalene Thomas, Tim Hawkinson, Takashi Murakami and Romare Bearden.

The artworks created demonstrate knowledge of the artist's work, technical skills, and use of new materials and processes in ink drawing, watercolor painting, paper sculptures and printmaking.

"The opening reception is a wonderful opportunity for students, friends, families and the community to enjoy our student's artwork, engage in collaborative art projects, an art scavenger hunt and meet our instructors and staff," organizers note.

"Join us for this special night of celebration of One River School students' artistic journeys."

RSVP on Facebook, here. Click "Going" near the top right of the page. The reception will be from 5-8 p.m. One River School is located at 49 N Dean St., in Englewood.

The exhibition will remain on view to the public through Monday, June 13.
