TENAFLY, N.J. – Football now has its own conference in North Jersey, breaking away from the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association in order to address scheduling and other issues, northjersey.com reports.
The article says Tenafly High School Supervisor of Athletics, Health and Physical Education Daniel Kilday recently met with the Board of Education, the athletic department and the community to discussion the new North Jersey Super Football Conference.
Balanced competition in order for safer play is one area still not fully worked out.
