Englewood Students Stomp Out Stigma Thursday ENGLEWOOD, N.J. – Englewood is working to give stigma the boot. The town’s health department is asking local students to sign a pledge to stomp out the stigma around mental illness and substance use disorders when officials visited the Janis E. Cycle Bar, Fashion Boutique Set To Open In Fort Lee Development FORT LEE, N.J. – New tenants will be joining the eight-acre development at Hudson Lights in Fort Lee. Tucker Development recently announced that Cycle Bar, Linwood Wine and Liquor, and Seesaw —a high-end fashion boutique — signed up for space. Bergenfield Museum Features Public School History BERGENFIELD, N.J. — A new exhibit highlighting the history of the borough's public school system has opened in the Bergenfield Museum. The district has its 125th anniversary this year. The exhibit will feature photos of students stretching back in time to the town's 1981 one-room schoolhouse. It will also have mannequins in period dress representing early students and their teacher. The Bergenfield Museum is at 100 Cooper Street in Bergenfield facing Cooper's Pond. It's open on Tuesday and Saturday from 1-3 p.m.

Saturday Marks 34 Years Since Cyndi Lauper Performed On Bergenfield Stage BERGENFIELD, N.J. – Pop icon Cyndi Lauper dominated a Bergenfield stage 34 years ago today. The singer, then part of rockabilly band Blue Angel, knew her worth even then, former nightclub owner Rick Bandazian said. Bergen County Teams Up With Hospitals To Train Disabled Young Adults HACKENSACK, N.J. – Two local hospitals are teaming up with Bergen County to offer job training to individuals with developmental disabilities. The $30,000 Project SEARCH program will set up 10-month-long internships at either Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck or Hackensack University Medical Center.
