Mark Weiser, who moved to Tenafly a year ago with his family, is the owner of Shake Rattle & Roll Dueling Pianos, what he describes as "a piano bar on steroids" that's a concert, comedy and cabaret all mashed up into one.

The all-request, rock 'n roll party, plays to celebrations of every stripe including bachelorettes, weddings, gala fundraisers, bar/bat mitzvahs and more. How it works: the audience picks the playlist and two piano players ping-pong back and forth between thousands of possible songs from Billy Joel to Bon Jovi to Britney Spears to Bruno Mars -- and yes, "Piano Man" is a common request as is "Sweet Caroline," "Brown Eyed Girl," and "Baby Got Back."

"The most requested of all time is 'Don’t Stop Believin’," said Weiser. In 2015, the company, now based in his new hometown, did more than 450 shows including ones for President Bush, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and Robert DeNiro.

Weser, who incidentally was the highest scorer ever on Fox TV’s “Don't Forget The Lyrics" TV show from 2009, said December is the company's craziest time with them often doing 15 shows a week.

Things at the moment are a bit calmer, but still busy. Watch for them in our area on Friday, Feb. 12 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Hackensack.
