"This power-packed networking event brings together high-profile businesswomen from the tri-state area to offer a forum for women from all walks of life to reinvent and invigorate their approaches to life and to work," a news release noted.

Walton has launched LOVE by Sarah Walton, an organic, vegan and gluten-free line of skin care. She also co-authored her first book last year, "Redefining Success: Real Women, Real Stories, Real Inspiration," that serves as the catalyst for this event. The networking event seeks to provide a platform for busy women to glean new ways to approach their dreams -- whether it's launching a new business, implementing a creative idea or establishing a balanced home life.

Walton will be the night's moderator. Panelists include

  • Emme, a notable plus-size model who's also a TV personality, author, lecturer, fashion creative director and women's advocate of 20 years;
  • Helen Archontou, YMCA of Bergen County CEO, who's advocated for children and women throughout her career;
  • Jaime Dictenberg, Senior VP of Consumer Marketing at Nickelodeon; and
  • Tracy Wolfson, a three-time Emmy-nominated sports broadcaster and lead reporter for the NFL on CBS.

"I wanted to offer a high-profile, power packed event for our local women. There are always amazing events taking place in the city, and it can be challenging for many of us to get out to those," said Walton. "So I thought, 'Why not put one on myself?' I'm really proud of what we're doing, and I'm thrilled about each woman on our panel. We're honored and lucky to get to spend an evening hearing their stories."

Several local women businesses owners will also be on hand at the networking event.

Early-bird tickets -- until Sunday, May 1 -- are $28. Buy them here. After that, advance tickets are $35. You'll also be able to buy them at the door for $40.

Networking starts at 6 p.m. and the panel discussion starts at 7 p.m. The country club is located at 188 Knickerbocker Rd., in Tenafly.
