ENGLEWOOD, N.J.— Students from four Youth Consultation Service (YCS) special education schools will showcase their artistic talent at bergenPAC's Intermezzo Gallery in Englewood in May.
The students have prepared watercolor paintings, paper mache masks, clay figures, 3-D group projects and poetry.
The theme for this year’s exhibit, “Stepping into our Students’ Imagination,” is inspired by a display of imaginative decorated sneakers by YCS Fort Lee Education Center students.
The public is also invited to a free live YCS chorus performance and awards presentation event on Saturday May 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The exhibit will run from May 3 to May 31. The gallery is open to the general public during box office hours, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
