The all-ages event will also include short family hikes, live animal encounters at the salamander pond and seasonal crafts in the education pavilion. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. You can also "bring a picnic lunch to enjoy together with fellow tree huggers," organizers note.
The event will run from at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Tenafly Nature Center, 313 Hudson Ave. It will be canceled if there's inclement weather. You can register here. The cost is $4 for members, $9 for non-members and kids under two are free.
