The event will feature photos with Santa, a variety of vendors and kids activities, contests, food, dog adoptions and more.

Admission is free, and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome, as well.

The event is still seeking vendors, including food providers, canine-related goods and services, and otherwise. Email petresqincevents@gmail.com for more information.

The Barn is at 570 Piermont Road, in the Closter Commons Courtyard.

The nonprofit rescue organization notes that most of the animals it rescues are "special needs" animals -- whether badly abused, older or disabled -- which would otherwise be euthanized.
