George Chamberlain, 89, Englewood Cliffs Resident

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. – George Chamberlain, of Englewood Cliffs, formerly of Teaneck and Garfield, died Wednesday, March 2. He was 89.

He was a forklift operator for General Printing Inc., in East Rutherford, before his retirement. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a former member of the 4th Ward Democratic Club in Garfield.

He is survived by hischildren Kathleen Brodheard of Milford, Pennsylvania, and Ken Chamberlain of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his sister, Katherine Puzino.

Interment will take place Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. There are no visiting hours.

Arrangements have been handled by Santangelo Funeral Home, Lodi.
