"It's a miracle nobody was hit," Detective Timothy Torell told Daily Voice.

Officers responding to the 11 p.m. call at the Rock Creek Terrace Apartments found several shell casings in the upper section of the complex, Torell said.

"Three vehicles were peppered with gunshots," he said. "An apartment window was struck, but the bullet didn't go through."

The Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Identification collected evidence.

Torell asked that anyone with information that could help identify the shooters call Bergenfield-Englewood-Teaneck-Hackensack Crime Stoppers, which offers cash rewards for tips that significantly assist criminal investigations.
