SHOUT OUT: Tenafly police rescued a 19-year-old heroin overdose victim with Narcan this past weekend.
Officers found the unresponsive woman at a Gordon Avenue residence around 4 p.m. Sunday, Capt. Michael deMoncada told CLIFFVIEW PILOT .
Officer Brandon Moriarty provided medical aid and Sgt. Nicholas Roux administered a dose of Naxolone that brought her around after several minutes, deMoncada said.
The Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Holy Name Medical Center paramedics also responded and the woman was hospitalized for further treatment and evaluation.
