Part of acting as a resource to the community also involves sharing ideas and discussing critical issues in hopes of finding solutions to ongoing problems. Community Education Nights are crucial to breaking down the information barrier between the school and community. Fusion Academy also brings parents and students together by discussing various topics including:

  • Creating an effective summer for your teen
  • Raising a child with ADHD
  • Mindfulness: What is it and how do you do it?
  • How to use social media to stand out in the college admission process
  • School refusal and anxiety: effective strategies for the whole family

There are over 30 Fusion campuses across the country, including locations in New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York. Schools work with their local community, professional network, and with each other, to determine important topics that will inspire parents and community members. Topics are generally geared toward the type of students Fusion serves: those who don’t fit in a traditional school model.

Fusion Academy is a one-to-one private school where teachers personalize education, giving students the best opportunity to learn based on their strengths, interests, and learning style. The community aspect is exceptionally important to Fusion and their families as it blends together everyone associated with the school and its programs.
